I played a Q4 demo last Thursday. Wow! This will be the surpasser to Q2. The action is fast, the graphics are very good and smooth. It appears that they have captured the gameplay from Q2 and took it to the next level. It really feels like Q2 while playing, but with a massive visual upgrade. If your computer can support it, try it out!

Don't feel bad Wixen, my PC cannot handle it either. My son had to bring his own PC over and let me check it out. Starbird, there is a supersweet game that you would have to play. It is called FEAR. It is a spooky, first person shooter. There's ghosts and blood and creepy things in the game. It is one of those games that must be played alone and with headphones for maximum effect.

hehe my p3 500mhz, w/ 400+ megs RAM don't stand a chance... lol Think I at least have the hard drive space to store the 1.4 gig demo....
I'm thinkin after a new vid chip and a major memory upgrade, I'll be able to run it on my girlfriends computer... But she will give me all sorts of crap for it...
like "why aren't you spending all that money on me?" and "You like that stupid thingy more than me!" and my favorite "we could be spending this time together!"
it should be fun. I'll just turn up the sfx and frag stuff until she leaves...

Yeah I got my first in 3rd grade.. It was a 286 laptop with monochrome monitor and about 128k ram. it wasn't even that ancient back then. Man, that thing was really not as portable as it was made out to be... it weighed almost as much as I did at that time...

My first computer was an Atari 800. It came with 16k of RAM, but I bougth more RAM with the computer. (total 48k RAM) The lovely 16 colors could be seen on a TV screen. (This was in 1980!) My modem was a 300 baud modem, and I was able to logon to Compuserve. Of course, I had no idea what to do after I logged in. After some time, I learned how to swap files with friends and post onto message boards. My hard drive was an external add-on and was the size of a toaster. I used to notch floppy disks, so I could use both sides of the disk. Memories!

so we gave in and made a forum exclusively for Q4. That's about as much change as I can handle. lol. Ah well... it does rock. I guess it deserves it's own place too.

Well, I'll leave it up for a while and see what happens. Usually give boards a few months and if it isn't used, I remove it.
