hi all, i got this problem, maybe the reason why i didnt manage to make the map done for the contest.. but, however, here's my problem:
I got myself a new computer, and everything is running so well( not like my old computer then), well, that is every thing except QERadiant. It is so damn slow!!!.. like, its almost 1 second ( atleas 0.5 second =/ ) of "lagg" from when i push the forward button until the camera moves... and im running computer with 3,06 Ghz and with Pentium 4, and 512 MB RAM!! And with XP ofcourse!
could it be a XP kinda bug or?.. its so slow that i only map for like 5 mins, then im bored... a new mapping program maybe would solve the problem, but im so in to QERadiant that i wont change if i dont have to!
got any ideas on how to solve it??

Funk if you're running Windows, click the "Start" button and go to "Run". in there, type "msconfig" (without quotes) and a dialog with several tabs should open up. select the "Startup" tab and in there you can select/deselect which things you want to run upon booting Windows. hope that helps.
