Sorry guys for not coming too often for a cup of coffey! I've been working and jammin' too much. but I have left me some spare time to map and I think I've come up with something fun, here's The Meat Factory It was suppose to be filled up with gibs, huge boiling pots and stuff, but it endend more like a steam room but I call it The Meat Factory anyway for the heck of it. I tried to make it more vertical friendly then The Rubin Temple but I think it's still a bit too flat! It's a bit big, suited for 12-16 but you can play it with less people, it's just more weapons and ammo then ;D Download The Meat Factory here --> www.geocities.com/sabotuer17/meat.zip

This is a great map. I really enjoyed walking around it. Design is great, I love detailing of some corridors, though I think some outdoor areas could use some facelifting. The corridor with rock ceiling is just great. It's a pitty, you didn't apply your boiling pots idea, cause it wold be really fun in such map! Though the meat pit at the quad is a neat accent This map has lso one great advantage, and I ktow, some people will appreciate it... IT'S GOT TRIMS ;D ;D ;D

sure Wixen, run it on you're server, I'd love my map to be played, why else whould I make it? though I think the r_speeds are a bit high, need a hand on fixing that (wasn't there a tutorial somewhere with skip and hidden brushes about that?) I'm thinking of adding an area room from one outside area to the middle area to the other outside area, maybe that would have the boiling pots. Thanks for the comment on the trims Stah

I like trims .... But is the map finished or in beta status ? You published it in the betatesting section but sound as if it were finished. Some textures are missing. e2u2/baselt_wht.wal. and sabotuer/tele1.wal. Played it with with a hook and found there is too much clipping for my taste. If you play lith you would like to land on the roofs sometimes, but most of them are clipped and unaccessible.

So maybe also optimize it for Lith / Tourney with hook ?

Still a beta! I'll fix those missing textures I'm no lith fan but I'll add fix the clipping, maybe a lith version. The reason for the clip brushes is that when you get to those roofs, you can see into the map, which is both an annoying camping place and ugly. Next version wont come quickly (I'll be working 8-24 every day almost the next month or so)! so enjoy this version as long as you can. Please let me know if there are any bugs in the map.
