I use a program called Tread 3D v. 1.12. It's kind of hard to find. Maric from Backshooters has a great tutorial for mapping with this program. You can find this tutorial under the "Links" section here on the Cafe'. I hope you have some luck with your map.

Heck the only program for mapping I ever even got close to having luck with was WorldCraft. If I could get a good program on my system and actually figure it out I might one day be able to join the ranks of mappers around here instead of just skinning.

Radiant or Quark. Not much more out there. Since they rebuilt Radiant for the GTK runtime ( and made it GTKRadiant ) it is a buggy mess. So the choice is easy.
