Can anyone provide a working link to the newest version of ARGHRAD? Preferably one that does not include the word "FILEPLANET" in the link... (I really don't think anyone should have to pay a cent in order to download freeware files...)
I would actually rather have someone email it to me in a zip... it could save me the trouble of downloading it, then emailing it to myself at home...
Thx guys... you're the best!

I do have 2 links listed in our links area, not sure if this is what you want.

I checked em out... they're kinda dead if you want to download Arghrad itself... they've still got good content though.. I can't seem to find anywhere that has it anymore... Why oh why, do people not host the important stuff in more than one place?
It seems like every time I need something for Q2, I search the web for a month and find nothing but dead links. It's driving me nuts!
The only places that actually keep the files around are gay-ass paysites (Fileplanet) that ad-bomb my browser window when I open their page! Why do they need 3 pop up windows worth of adds if I have to pay monthly just to DL a couple of kilobytes that they didn't pay anything to create? how much can it cost to run a file server?
well, if anyone reads past this whiney tirade, I still need Arghrad. at least it was aptly named... ("ARGH!!!"rad) lol.

I see. Here is the complete set of Q2 build tools I use with Quark in their original zip. cuco.dyndns.org/users/grieve/files/buildq2-39.zipThere is also a later version of Arghrad which was posted on gamedesign.net for beta-testing. smooth... but, what would google find without your expertise to guide it towards the viable content? it would be lost without you!

yeppers. Google is just a tool, and it won't automatically spit out what you want. you got to have some experience on how to use it. for example, when searching a file, the real filename is something to look out for. in our example arghrad, you may try looking for "arghrad.exe" or "arghrad.zip". especially the latter will most likely lead you to ftp servers which have this file. www.google.at/search?hl=de&q=arghrad.zip&btnG=Suche&meta=

well that looks much more promising than the crap it was spitting back at me... I didn't look for the extension so I got sent to forum after forum and I got a bazzilion links to map .txt files where people put down Arghrad as their lighting util.. Your way is far superior.
I learn something new from you guys, every day.
