I like to thank all mappers for a fantastic job, well done.

And thanks to all judges for your effort too.

And a special thanks goes to Tiki_man for special gifts to provide us judges a very nice panel for our votes, and up/downloads. And for providing space for all to download the maps.

Also thanks to Deacon(WOS) for providing space at hes Tomb, so we all can download the maps.

This is as fast as I could do it without making any "extras" in the post. I also had to tjec the votes and such...(havent had time to calculate all, hope Tiki_mans computer works).

And I hope maybe Le Ray or Grieve can make the announcement a bit nicer in the final thread. thx.

great contest, great contestants, great output. more activity on this forum today than there has been on the planetquake irc channel all week lol. i had heaps fun building the judging interface for this community activity and more so playing around on these new maps.

Congrats to all the entrats and 3fing3redfi3nd! Great work guys, this is really awesome for the Quake 2 community And TikiMan, those are some beautiful bar graphs and webpages, great work! I will put all the contest maps on our servers and websites as soon as I get em. It feels like a Quake 2 christmas!

on the review site review site maric says: Jester has proved himself time and again to be the most talented Quake 2 mapmaker, bar none

Very well done to ALL the mappers & it's a shame we couldn't have had 8 winners .. !! OH WAIT!! but we did didn't we .. there's now 8 more maps being dl across the globe after this with mappers names being burned into players minds as the fire up their q2 GG everyone

Hey, it would be cool if you server guys would have a q2 server with only the contest maps, I've never played any of my maps with real players. I'll be able to play from 17-19 of june

A regular q2 server would be very pleasing, lox pisses me off, I don't play q2 enough to figure that mod out
