If you have an active Q2 server and you would be able to host our maps when the contest is finished, please sign up here. It's always a great feeling to know your maps are being played on someone's server!

on behalf of OGN ~ we can & are willing to host maps & demos no worries.
we still have mps from previous contests in rotation &/or as vote maps in a couple of them hehe
Hit me on that msn thingo if you want to arrange something concrete regardless of any other aspect of the contest.

I have the power of a Planetquake account we can use; I still have it archived. If I can't retrieve it, my new host GamingG will have no problem with it.

Count us in at Clan WOS! We'd be glad to host all the competition maps on LOXophilia and put them up for download. It's been great (every year!) to get new maps from the competition for game play, always a win-win situation for everyone

Great! Thanks Deacon, I appreciate it. Also, please tell Clan WOS that we're looking for mappers and judges.

Couldn't post a reply in the judges thread but this thread is still integral to my reply so 2 birds with 1 stone as the saying goes .. Bad news first (well maybe bad :/): because of work commitments I feel very strongly that I should step back from a judging position this time around. Being a contractor working outdoors I spend anything up to 14hr days & have pulled a fair few 7 day wks over the past couple of mnths & .... it doesn't appear to be going to let up in a hurry, so to be fair & keep things covered for the competitions sake ... thanks but I can't bring myself to do 2 things half hearted so to speak. Good news part: I'm still able & most willing to host contest maps, demos etc: 1) in game servers & 2) at ftp Sorry about any dissapointment this may cause but I thought to speak up asap on these matters. Map on lads... We're really looking forward to playing in them

I totally agree with deacon. This is a win-win situation for everyone who still likes this game!! We've also hosted these nice, new maps. Type vote map <mapname> on the BOD LOX server (aliencause.dyndns.org:27910)

Ah yes, yes I will host some of the maps on my WODX1.3 server. Right now, I am currently working out an override file for "ENDGAME" and will be seriously considering WhirlingDervish's map. There has always been nice maps that have come from this contest, and thank you for running it.
