We're pretty cool....lol... I was trying to get a post on the rust forums, but it doesn't seem to load up for some reason. Pretty cool. Iv made a notice on WOS and NIN a couple of days ago. I did try rust too with same results as you. Did try to post at DOU and DOA, one dosent repond anymore and the other Iam awaiting new password... same goes for OGN Australia, but I just saw Who!! has made a notice of our contest there last night. Thanks alot Who!!. W1

Howdy ya'll...
Great to see another successful contest run its course. Nice results, five new maps, all different, mostly interesting...
It's really nice to see a complete lack of fussing and bickering over who said what and who got what score. Very strong community functioning going on...huzzah!!!
I have to say that I have a soft-spot for WizardExt's map, it has wonderfully complicated 'terrain' and he pulls it off flawlessly. Great work, great map.
Good work and or good showing and potential by all...

Yup...me echoes Maric's sentiments.
Has anyone considered doing this on a monthly basis and eliminating the "contest" feel of the whole thing? Func_msgboard has been home to a number of speed mappers for Quake 1 and to this day, that game STILL gets more new maps than Quake 2.
Doing this every month might edge them out. Just a thought...
