Ey, ey LeRay.... what have You done?!?!?! It's it's... I have no words for this mass... YOU DID IT! Sorry guys, but I have to admit, that LeRay has found something... the truth, the light, the spirit of QUAKE2! Holy god, these walls, windows, the atmosphere... everything looks good, but the ambience... I tried to search some game in my memory with I could compare it, but I failed. It's original, and I feel comfortable in it, when I start to walk in the corridors of this world... CONGRATULATION!

Thank you very much Zorius, I'm glad you like the map. If anyone else has any comments on the map, feel free to post comments. Good and bad, I can take it.

Okay, this is just about what can be seen on this screen shot, not about the map in general. The upper walkway that can be seen on the shot ... cries desperately for a trim. It does not look right like this, it should be framed by either rusty metal or some sort of tiles. The art of using trims is a key to good looking gothic maps in general. And the facade of the buildings that can be seen from there could also need some trims. Maric mentioned this point already in his remarks to your map. The tiling of the main texture is becoming too obvious because it is repeated too often over a too wide area without being broken up.

oaky I'm baaack been in & out of hospital for a few "days" meh those places blow the biggest chunks heya anyways LeRay congrats on the win mate WD the efforts you put into the map were/are totally obvious .. maybe as some of the other contestants get a few more miles under their belt (wont be too much in most cases either) you're going to be in big trouble.. myself I thoroughly enjoy q2 maps period which makes me I spose at times susceptible to 1st impressions ... from memory the 1st impression that hit me like a brick as I spawned was "my God!! q2rdm2 (chastity belt duel) taken apart & reworked to the max" now I KNOW that's not the way it is but I've spent a lot of time respawning in the duel map & it's sorta ecnrusted into my minds ram & it was/is a map that Leray32 run beside is a pigeon pair Great work LeRay, from my perspective a really fun map & the players in our ffa & LOX servers are enjoying it as well to the best of my knowledge .. (I been crook n not fragging lately remember )

mate the gang's having a riot in that map, little bit hard to fully police as in anti camping when there's more than a dozen frantic fraggers frothing fruitfully ;D now I'm back in action *again* I'll be pushing some feedback to the other mappers over the next few days on how theirs are being received in this little end of the world too aye
