You can also set items to look like single-frame monsters and the player model almost works too! (No textures) You could use this to make enemy-stautes (NPC's anyone?), decoys, and collectibles... gotta catch em all! Sadly I could not change the explosive barrel model, however you can use it's model as a replacement. Look what you've gone and made me do...! members.shaw.ca/drawn2life/_other_/killmenow.jpg- Mike

SCENE #3: Happy Birthday Bitterman! Basically it's the Black Hole Generator arranged in such a way it looks like one of those air-filled jungle gym castle thingies. It is rotating because I was having issues with guys getting stuck, probably from lack of space to move around in. (They still do though not as much) As a result you can stop the party by 'putting away' the fun... you'll see. members.shaw.ca/drawn2life/_other_/scene3.bspI admit I kind of rushed this one out without making it look all pretty. I promise Scene4 will be much more exciting! - Mike

In Q3 you can set the count for weapons & ammo Giving me some new mapping ideas. This allows the placement of smaller and larger ammo pickups- maybe make models for a single rocket like in Doom, or a larger crate of 20 or so. Note that the original model will still be precached, so you will need to be wary of staying under the limit of 256 server-indexed models in stock Q2.

WOW.. this is so fu**ing awesome! Sure gives a lot of new opportunities on mapmaking.. I'm just wondering, those grassmodels: - Will this make it possible to make a big field of real looking grass? - And would it affect the compile time? I'm guessing it won't, since it's an item.. oh.. and btw.. Hello ppl! =)
