I'm sure a few of you have been wondering what ever happened to StroggDM. Was 7.0 REALLY the final? The answer was no; confusion was made when "7.0 Final" made people think it was the last ever version.. what I meant is that it was the final of the 7.0 series and never would of gotten anywhere near 7.0 and anything past it would be above 7.9
Anyway.. I do have some ideas for StroggDM8, and I want to know if anyone can expand or has other ideas to help.

Single Player and Cooperative.

This has been longed to happen. SP and COOP have been 100% planned and the code commented down to where I need to add COOP support in. Now, plain SP and COOP with classes isn't fun. Here are some EXTRA gamemodes I planned for SP/COOP:
Normal - Play the COOP/SP as you would DM, but with monsters.
RPG - Start low, and make your way up the tables by killing monsters. (Little extrea: I had a thought to make this the main StroggDM gameplay, but quickly changed my mind soon after.)
Random - You might be a soldier, you might be Makron, who knows? Only after your respawn will you find out.
Human Invaders - Changes all of the Stroggo enemies into humans. Weapons depend on who they replace.

StroggFlags

No, this doesn't mean that every Strogg has a flag attached to them. It is a new type of "dmflag" that links directly to StroggDM. Here is the planned (subject to change) list:
1 - Teamplay (Classes)
2 - Teamplay (Landtype)
NOTE: Both teamplay modes will not be cvars, the StroggFlag will replace it.
4 - RPG (might be a cvar, though)
8 - Survival (2x less health, 2x more damage, it's a paradise of pain)
Please, anyone with ideas, submit them here, PM or email me!

CTF

Ah yes, the wanted "StroggCTF". CTF will need to be implemented into StroggDM as a cvar-ed gamemode. CTF will be like normal CTF. Nothing real different. There WILL be CTF-Specific skins, no worries.

Other modes are mostly other submittals from other people. Anyone who submits modes will be posted here, with their gamemode and name. I hope to get atleast 3.. anyone?
Here's one I came up with.
Hold the Flag: The flag spawns randomly around the map. Whoever has the flag gets one frag every 5 seconds. The person who frags the person with the flag gets 2 frags (but does not nessesarily have to get the flag to get the points, just to kill him).
Come on people, ideas are needed!
