So I'm just thinking of what I can do for my next map leray36? I don't have a whole lot of time to put into my maps anymore, but I still enjoy creating them. I'm just not in the perfect situation to work on them right now. This could change in the future, but it's kind of hard at the moment. Just wondering what I could do for my next project? Should I wait for another contest? Any thoughts you guys? I'm just glad I'm so good looking. If it weren't for that...I would start to feel sorry for myself.

All these darn deathmatch, how about a single player for once! Or a 16 player DM composed of chuncks of 32 of your previous maps, including textures and sounds - Mike

Oh hell - don't wait... I have two new maps already in progress, one of which is an all-out tour-de-force, where I'm spending time to put in all the little details. Gonna be awesome! It's an underground lab with a giant tentacled monster that broke out of its tank, and grew huge, trashing the place. The monster of course will be static, just large tentacles laying around the place, but the effect is great fun! It will also have pods that will provide weapons and powerups in the game.
The other one is a real quick and dirty job, utilizing the newest thing I found out how to do- create a weapon dispenser, yes! You push a button and a weapon pops out and is thrown in a random direction - the joy!

this map does that The Tech Edge x4dm1.bsp X7 Well, its a trully nice map, and i has always loved it, maybe one of the best different "edge maps" out there. But its not really a dispenser and you will have to wait for ages for the weapon. What I would like to do, is a fast, maybe going through an arch and catch the new weapon like thinggy. Seeing the next weapon coming down to the next player, who dares to take a chance on it. And I would like the player to see what next weapon which will be next. It should be a random dispenser!.. -W1

I've implemented item dispensers- look at map 2 of Pax Imperia. They're the push button, item pops out type, using a clip brush func_door to push the spawned item.
For truly random item spawns, you'll need to use some of the functionality of the Lazarus mod, namely target_rotation.
