Stomping in on the party here, but qFusion is based off of Quake 2's code base; with enough work you can successfully port the required files (g_ai, g_combat, m_*) to get monsters functioning. It will require programming expertise however, this has only been done in earlier ones like r5.

Exact, when loading the "client" or "models", and sends you to the menu that is what I do not understand, is this bad some of the "source code"?

You'll have to debug the game; being sent back to console is usually the cause of gi.error being called.
