Well, I have no idea, but some of our members do have knowledge of Quake3, maybe member grieve can answer your question, as he has done some Q3 maps into Q2 maps. W1

well, we are talking about 2 different things here: the map itself, containing buildings and places and everything where you move in and on, and the player models, everything that moves around in the map. I converted q3dm1.bsp for Q2 , but not a player model. converting md3 is tricky, because they contain 3 body segments, in Q2 every player model is in 1 piece. you will need a tool to handle and view the models, you could give milkshape a try. chumbalum.swissquake.ch/(unfortunately the trial version only runs 1 month)

Whenever you get this thing sorted, would you be interested in making more models for a q2 megaman mod? Beanstorm has been doing a great job putting out classic looking robot masters, but I'm sure that he would appreciate the help. tastyspleen.net/quake/forums/index.php?topic=7368.45

VCMDL.NET (a program of mine) supports md3 importing and eventually will support tags. It'll be released pretty soon.
A few engines support md3 but they need to be animated md2-style (doesn't support tags, etc).
If you have the model format from Legends perhaps you can find a converter to something generic like 3ds and then re-convert it into md2. As always you'd have to re-animate.
