After some extensive development and testing work, the new version is ready for release. In addition to the usual tweaks and bug-fixes, some fun new features have been added:
One new weapon is the Disc Launcher, which shoots razor-sharp metal discs that bounce off hard surfaces. In corridors and smaller rooms, this can be used to lethal effect.
Another new weapon is the good ol' Chainsaw. Not much needs to be said about this beauty - just get close to someone and watch the gibs fly!
A secondary mode has been added to the Explosive Spike Gun. Now you can load up to six spikes in the firing chamber, and shoot them all at once in a deadly spread. Great for crowd control. Visible weapon support has been implemented for the standard Male and Female models, so you can see exactly what kind of hurt your opponents are about to dish out on you.
Rocket and C4 explosions now throw players around more - making it easier to knock your opponents off ledges, and allowing you to reach new heights with C4-jumps!
Players can now use the new script file 'autoawaken.cfg' to enter personal setup commands that are executed each time the game is restarted.
Note that this is both a server and client side update, so players as well as server admins will need to download this upgrade if they want to experience all the new models and sounds.
