Peter "Myrmidon" (Delita) Briggs wrote an interesting guide to Quake II. Check it out. Would you agree that Q2 is an art form? "Many people see Quake 2 as just a game, and that is OK. Some people see it as an e-sport, and that too is OK. But I see Quake 2 as an art form; a highly dynamic art form with lots of moving parts, and many complex features. It.s difficult to see Quake 2 at this angle, and many people just don.t care either way. If this is the case then close this guide and go do something else, because if you don.t see Quake 2 in this light then you will make no sense of this guide...." Attachment Deletedq2guide.com/-W1

I enjoyed it, would recommend for those who like diving deeper in to the game from another minds perspective, ..and yes I would agree Q2 is an art form as well as Q1!!! Can't say much on Q3/Q4 as I don't have any experience with them. Well written and kudos to Myrmidon, maybe some of these new, what I call flash junk players will learn some gaming history and understand just how much the old schoolers gave to the game. Oh for the good ol days when the servers were full and respect had its place.
