so...while creating levels, i end up with this bug, wich i think is know off, it basically allows the player to see through any texture used as a sky, i've read that that could be fixed by using some other texture as the sky, but that doesn't fixed it for me.
is there any solution at all?

Could you post a screenshot of this? It may be due to how you structured the areas of your map. Using areaportals inside the doors between indoor and outdoor areas can help. You can also try putting hint brushes behind the sky brushes.
BTW, using a different texture for the sky won't matter. A brush with the sky surface flag set is a brush with the sky surface flag set.

Here's info on func_areaportal: panjoo.tastyspleen.net/rust/tutorials/15/15.htmlIf that area is not behind a door, you'll probably have to add some geometry that blocks that view. You should never have an area where the player can walk/climb right up to a vertical sky surface without noclipping.

that area is behind a door, but areaportal doesn't work, at all, the door won't open... so that is the only way?

Sounds like you linked the door and the areaportal wrong. The door is supposed to target the areaportal, not vice versa.
