Hi there guys, long time no see
I got a bit of nostalgia brewing in my belly and wanted to do some quake 2 mapping again and was wondering if anyone knew how to make qoole work on windows 10.
if not then which mapping program do you suggest?
I might also need some help with setting up quake 2 on my pc, as of now I have the game through steam but I can't seem to be able to change the resolution

they look fun and interesting, unfortunately I can't get quake 2 to work on my computer so I can't give it more review then that

that's the entire content of qconsole.log The game actually starts but it crashes immidietly
If use your test build the same thing happens but the qconsole.log shows up empty
I would like to point out, which I should probably have done before, that I'm not using a cd-version but a downloaded one

you need to start posting pics with it, I haven't managed to get my quake 2 running yet, so I needs pics atm.
Also I didn't have quake 2 for a while, and I've seen a lot of maps posted without any pics, pics are lovely because then I get to see your work. I don't play quake 2, I just love to make maps and see other peoples maps. It makes my brain work right, every map I see makes me start a map in my mind.
I think it works in many minds like that, and for those who don't play, and don't make maps anymore, they still love to see some work

hmmm, ok, I tried the r1q2, but that didn't work (what I got out of leray's link that might help), said that it needed ref_r1gl.dll instead of ref_gl.dll , but I don't know how I get that to work, should I maybe rename the ref_r1gl.dll file to ref_gl.dll?
after that I tried grieves' executables, but that didn't seem to work either, perheps because I installed both berserker and r1q2 in the same folder and now they are all interfering with each other.
should I start all this over again, install q2 into 2 seperate folders and try each one out?

I got windows 7 on my comp now, but I don't seem to be making quake 2 work, I tried out berserker, but no luck, can someone help
PS: I'm working on a new map, done with the rough outlook but need q2 to work so I can finish it
