does kmquake2 have something like the r_skydistance cvar, which the renderer of Q2 Compilation Project (ref_q2cpgl.dll) had ? where you can decide how far you will see ?

chances are that you will get a SZ_Getspace Overflow Crash .... but it depends on how many monsters can be seen at the same time.
