I can't offer an ETA on that. There are some prerequisites that have to be completed first. If you really want to play the current build on KMQ2, you can download its source code here and compile it for KMQ2: github.com/glhrmfrts/q25_gamemanaged to compile it with visual C++ 2008. the 32 - bit version of the game froze at one point, but the 64 - bit one does fine so far, no crash yet.

Also, was it v3.24 that was throwing all those errors, or was it R1Q2?
actually both of them, all 'basic' ports acted that way, like 3.21 builds, nocheat or 'quake compilation project r7'

with a batch file, as usual. no biggie. n ow I tried to start the engine first and then set the game on the console. it said : *ERROR: model players/male/tris.md2 has too many skins* so I threw out some of the paks I had in the gamedir - some were double. then I tried again, and it gave me: *ERROR: model models/deadbods/dude/tris.md2 has bad size header (19916 != 19852)* lol ... I am cursed but anyway, it runs with Q2pro and EGL and yamagi, Q2e also freezes when started.

yep, that's usually my default - port.
when I try to run it with this mappack, it stays minimized in the tray, and when I try to maximize it it says : *Couldn't load pics/conchars.pcx* (that's nonsense, this pic surely is in the folder)
when I close the program, it adds:
*GLimp_Endframe() - SwapBuffers () failed:6*
really cryptic ....

which port do you use anyway ? for me nearly no engine is working with this mission ....
now I'm using yamagi, had to rename the game - dll.

my bad, this already works with kmquake2. I thought the game - dll is supposed to be named *kmq2gamex86.dll*

I've downloaded the new build tools from discord. Is the 64 - bit arghrad useable and stable now, or are there still issues ?
