I had some problems with the map in the end, but it seems to be o.k. The r_speeds are a little high in this one, but not too bad. Watch out for those asteroids, very dangerous Hope you enjoy it! That's a great one. you really have a great 3d imagination! and i like those red lights. they do their job for the space station atmosphere

Thank you Stah ! I just wanted to make a simple fun map and I think this one is pretty fun. I was very glad that HLR was able to help me with linking a sound to the asteroids. I think that is really cool. Kind of scary when you are standing still and an asteroid comes buzzing by.... This is the first map released from Clan Q2M

im lucky to be alive after a comet nearly took my head off ;D it gave me a fright when i was looking at the env then turned around , next minute there was a comet in my face nice touch's on the glass floor , and i like the slowly rotating sky , all of the affects make the map look great gj mr leray !

I just downloaded the map! The end result is great, a very original and unique map in Quake2! Hope I'll see a new map in the competition!

Hi Le Ray. Hosted Space Station (leray31) for 9 hours in the zone last night. I was a sleep most of the time (night here u know) but severel ppl. was in there, some WOS members. Iv got the sz_getspace to. When iv playid it in LOX mod it crashed after ½ an hour and left my monitor all blue (color) whit just some ikons. I tryed it 3 times with same result. The rest of the night i had standart mod on and it did not crash, but i still got a lot of SZ_getspace notifications. Dont know whats the problem, but someone told me it could be to many brushes.... I think Deacon WOS was in there 2night maybe he knows more than i do.... Launching it again 2night in 2 minutes actually and then iam of to bed...night nighty

just went through the logfiles here & yep absolutely miles of: SZ_GetSpace: overflow basically all the time the map was running the overflow was going off for each player - really makes for a big logfile when theres 7 or 8 players in there

Would anyone like me to try and create a version of leray31 without the asteroids? I think this is probably the reason for the errors. If anyone is interested, I can try removing them and see if the errors still occur. If they don't, I can just release a new version. Let me know what you guys think about this.

When i start the map, i get this notification in the console:
U_REMOVE: oldnum != newnum U_REMOVE: oldnum != newnum U_REMOVE: oldnum != newnum ........
I tried it with normal quake2.exe, nocheat 2.34, 2.40 and q2ace 1.21, message comes with with all these clients.

Hey cc, welcome to the Cafe'. Yes, someone else also told me of the errors you listed. All I can think of is that it's the comets I'm plan on running another version of the map without the comets and see if that solves the problem. That's the only thing I can think of. Sorry about the problems and thanks for the info.
