Is there anything structurally different here or has it just been re-textured?

Nice.. Did you leave out some weapons with purpose? W1 Nope All weapons items are in the right place well, the hyberblaster is located where the railgun used to be. The machingun where the shutgun. The shutgun where the machinegun. The supershutgun where the machinegun...and I cannot find the railgun and the shutgun. Maybe somethings wrong with the version I downloaded..? "Me loves Edge maps"...lol... W1

What I'm talking about is Quake2 Edge to Quake1 to Quake2, wouldn't of it been faster just to get the textures from the Q1 version then apply them to Q2?

You can also do this with bat files. I have one each for fast vis, full vis, entities only, and lights only. I don't do any compiling inside the editor. All is done with bat files. Seems to be quicker and better IMO than those in most editors. I use radiant by the way but it doesn't matter which editor you are using when you use bat files. All you need is a map file to make them work.
