Nah, I don't map much. QuArK's 3D window also occasionally freezes on me and I can't look around till I restart it.. very annoying

I've found that I really dont need to use the 3d window very often so, I just set it to wireframe... never locks up... Any time I really want to see the textures, I'll either open a small software 3d window or just do a qbsp on the map real fast and go check it out fullbright...
I can see enough in the wireframe 3d window to tell if things are crooked, and its actually easier to tell in wireframe when things aren't plumb or level, because the textures can fool your eye pretty well sometimes.

Yes, but in The Edge, usually the way I work with it, you see all the wireframe behind it and such, and I can't view it like that. But anyways, is there a way to select negative polys without finding the poly in the treeview?

Fileplanet has it's disadvantages.. it told me to wait 168 minutes last time I tried to download it. I have a 256 kb/s cable/modem with 4 networked computers, I get a nice speed of usually 300 kb/s on Windows XP.
QuArK works, just the 3D view freezes on me when I do big changes, so I have to change it to wireframe, move around, and switch back to textured.
