I cant get quark to work it keeps asking for quake 2 directery and wont accept it! whats wrong? plz help me!

well .... first you launch Quark. the window that opens first is called the Quark Explorer Window ( before you open a map editing window ) go to "Edit" and select "Configuration" then the configuration window opens. select Quake 2 under "Games", and go to "Game settings" where you can set the Quake 2 directory. the dotted line behind the adress bar where you enter the Quake 2 directory is a button, in case you didn't notice. you can click this button and get a browser dialogue. use it to browse to your Quake 2 directory. after that you can click "Apply" at the bottom of the configuration window. important: the Quake 2 directory you select must really be a Quake 2 directory. Quark is looking for a quake2.exe there and also for the pak0.pak in the baseq2 subdirectory. Everything must be in place and correctly named. Quark won't accept the directory when important files are missing or improperly named.
