Hello, My english is poor but I'll try to explain what kind of problem I have... I'm using QuArK to build my map. imageshack.us/photo/my-images/824/asdddq.jpg/That's a problem. I have two walls, their front faces are "as one". How can I link them ? I want that textures look better than on image that I upload...THEY AREN'T FIT. I tried to link faces, glue faces - it doesn't work. I know that I can fit them manually in texture panel in QuArK, but it's difficult to do, and I don't belive that every mapper do it manually...because on map buliding there are a lot of polyphedrons where we must to fit two faces with one texture. Any solutions? Sorry for my english

Not sure how it is in QuArK, but with QERadiant, I just select the texture, hold down shift, and then use my arrow keys to move the texture..

Hello..
When your face is out of balance. 1) Copy and paste from original wall face
- tex angle - tex scale - tex origin
....not always work and boring you can try reset 1.1 texture scale and then copy tex angle..

The second problem... How can I do, that the texture on face is visible or unvisible? Still in QuArK. Example : Two different textures on two faces in one plane... imageshack.us/photo/my-images/810/prin.jpg/How to do that?

You didn't understand me... Hmmm....Let's try to explain .... A have two cubes - one face of the first cube and the one face on the second cube are in ONE PLANE. A want, that the texture of 1st cube is visible instead of texture of 2nd cube. See again my picture in earlier post to understand

Sry...'m just a smoking ape .... Overlapping faces in map... Cutting each cube and slide it in position, it`s difficult. Set up properly your grid before you cut, it makes small holes in your map. Best way is re-create a new wall, scale it, copy,paste and then adjust into smaller pieces. see screenshot.

I have next problem... I want to create lights similiar to the lights on Q2DM1... On the left and right of the lights are invisible polys ...reason? Player who jumping on the floor doesn't hook/block on the light poly, but he still can stand on it up face. Sorry for my explanation, but I really trust that You understand me.... Sometimes this happens when there is a difference grid 0.5xx or smaller on one of the walls.... Or scale face not good.?...triangle interferes?.... New wall does not help?, or remove wall 8 grid?.. Prinsboy Upload / or send me the map ..i will look into / repair it.

Ok, thank You, I fixed it. Next problem I want to create a poly, which is visible but player can move trough it or shot trough it...but it isn't water of course A few time ago I created that poly but today I can't, I try all of the flags - none of them do that effect... It is possible to do in Quark?

- Clip texture is a invisible wall..... Face flag is already good. player can not true.. hmm. - make new wall..... face flag mist!. Done!. Nexttt Problem LOL.. Hey..... when your map is done, i want to play it!.

Thank You.... Map is poor in technical aspect, there are some holes when I deleted the big cube, where my map is in I'm not a mapper. It's a 4/4 Teamplay map - still want to see it?
