I would like to know your local beer? What do they brew in your area?

well out here in S. California theres a little company called "Green Flash" brewing co. that produces some nice light ales and other beers... The Extra Pale is quite good, reminiscent of Bass but with a much smoother sweeter aftertaste that doesn't linger too long. it's also light enough to drink in vast quantities, which is alot to say for most microbrews. www.greenflashbrew.com/press_coastnews013003.html
