What happen to the awesome weapon models\textures?

What happen to the awesome weapon models\textures that paril converted?

i did search the internet for hours like 6 hours and 4 hours to day. i cant find them

i am a quake 2 fan i wanted to play coop with my friends but they dont find it any more interesting with the current graphics.
so i went to search for the holy grail and the only thing i find it was 
berserker quake engine 
some high texture pack
some evolved or km whatever name they got weapons that sucked
and that's all basically. but the only missing puzzle piece was the generations quake weapons the ones that paril converted.

i remember reading something about copy right fru fru staff but i want to believe that no one its so greedy to stop something like that.
i mean its quake 2 right? the king of quakes series. so no one have the right to make hd weapons packs for q3 and not for q2!!! i mean the credits got ther name right? i dont see the problem,is about who converted them and not who made them? am pretty sure that paril did put the creators name on a read me file! and the truth is that i dont really care who made it. just put the name of the maker and the name of the one that has converted them and we are ok.right? so whats the big deal on that copy right staff?

so aside that is any place that i can download that perfect weapons? i dont want to re-upload them or play the thief or something  i just want to play a to days quake 2.
a quake 2 that every fun deserves to play. i hope i will get my answer from peril,the one that did the hard work on converting the Guns. are we going to see them alive for quake 2 or we will rot in our fantasy? thanks

BTW, there are various high-res retexture packs for Q2, but none of them are of consistent quality and comprehensively cover all of Q2 and its mission packs like the Quake Revitalization Project. Some of them are full of old textures with Photoshop filters applied (i.e. crap).

1) yea i did read that thread and this is what killed me => Production stopped due to copyrights on the models.

2) ty bro i will try that!!! i hope he will help me, i mean we all love q2 why not share right?

3) yea i find lots of them and i agree with you,but some of them are fully cover the q2 original missions, i am about to start a personal project on high res texture pack for the expantions but i need to learn some staff to make it good,like bumb maping and staff.

Most Q2 engines don't support bump mapping. But you'll probably want to do simpler stuff like glow layers and Q3-style shaders, which are more widely supported.

berserker@quake engine i think it can suport bump mapping.

Berserker doesn't properly support the mission packs. It has an ugly workaround that involves connecting to an R1Q2 dedicated server.
