This is a know issue. On rare occasions it happens because your texture directory contains a texture with a restricted character "@" that throws off Map Mixer.
It's rare but it happens if you have 50 000 textures like me. I recently ran into it when adding a whole lot of Dday maps ;-)

That's great Null that you found the cause of my problem. I did not know what was happening with Map Mixer freezing up on me like it was doing.

Well Thank you again Null for that work around I think I found all them textures with @ in them. I next thing that stops me is that I load a map to over ride and click on view thumbnail Dir I find a texture to change and now see this File needs to be in dir e:\MapMixer2\cache\ ok I know the cache files are there so why now do I have this error?
