I was qvis'ing my dm-map and I maxed out on fullvis with 7000 or so numportals and 3000 or so portalclusters.
Is there a version of qvis3 that supports multicore cpus and higher vis numbers?
I know arghrad supports multicore and I use that and I am using kmqbsp3 for initial map compile.
I just need a good vis3 now.

Qvis3 already supports up to 64 threads with the -threads parameter.
The max vis size is a hardcoded value that matches the hard limits of the Q2 engine. I could increase it in KMQ2 and release a special version of Qvis3, but then your map would only work in KMQ2.
Instead you should try to further optimize your map with detail brushes. Complex architecture can be made all detail and then a simple vis hull of structural brushes placed behind it.

Also I use KMQ2 exclusively. Best engine there is for Q2.
