Hi there guys, long time no see
I got a bit of nostalgia brewing in my belly and wanted to do some quake 2 mapping again and was wondering if anyone knew how to make qoole work on windows 10.
if not then which mapping program do you suggest?
I might also need some help with setting up quake 2 on my pc, as of now I have the game through steam but I can't seem to be able to change the resolution

I'd recommend QE/GTK Radiant or Trenchboom. I'd avoid Qoole due to its well-known problems with non-orthogonal brushes.
The Steam version of Q2 has no support for widescreen monitors, that's probably why you can't get it at the fullscreen resolution you want. You'll need a modified engine like my v3.24 patch or KMQ2.

thank you mate, I got q2 to work (kinda) I'll try out those programs for mapmaking soon. Hopefully I'll be determined enough to make a new map
