Wasn't sure where the best place to post this as it fits in here as well as a few other places, so since it can apply to this thread I decided to post it in here to keep this thread up on the front page for a bit longer.
knightmare or anybody who reads this, would you/any of you have a recommendation for a really good sp custom mission done by anybody or yourself that you know of that really shows off the KM Quake2 port with a fair amount of the lazarus incorporated in to it. Also a recommendation of a vanilla custom sp mission as well that incorporates a good use of lazarus for a side by side comparison would be helpful as well. I know this is a little wordy the way I put it and not condensed but I hope it makes sense what I am asking.

As far as Q2 SP map packs that fully exploit KMQ2 and Lazarus, such a beast doesn't really exist yet. Even though this is what I created KMQ2 for.
Mark Shan's Pax Imperia requires KMQuake2 due to its extremely high entity/monster counts, but it only makes use of Lazarus entities in one set piece that I personally added to it (you'll know this when you see it). Mark's 1492: Anno Domini was made for vanilla Q2, but it really needs KMQ2 to avoid packet overflows in one area.
On the other hand, there a a few good missions made for vanilla Q2 out there that use Lazarus. Damage, Inc by Jeffrey Hayat and Divide by Zero by SoftShoulder are two such examples. Brendon Chung's Citizen Abel 3: The Civic Redemption and Citizen Abel 4: Malfunction Junction are also excellent Lazarus examples.
Andrea Rosa's Citadel 3.0 is a great example of a map pack that uses my merged Xatrix/Rogue missionpack game DLL (which also has most Lazarus features), but it doesn't actually exploit KMQ2/Lazarus.
As far as standalone games go, Brendon Chung's Gravity Bone and Thirty Flights of Loving are derived from KMQ2/Lazarus, with lots of custom code and assets. Chung's Grotto King is also a small standalone game based on a much older build of KMQ2.

Very cool and helpful knightmare, thank you for that information! I will put in the time tracking down these standalone games to view as well as the sp missions and playing through them after I get back from the drive through wedding. Oh btw, I guess its time to create a beast, loading beast mode level and taking my vitamins . Shit, now if I could just remember where I put my old man walking cane so I can dig my beast suit out of the closet lmao. Seriously, thank you for your input and your thoroughness in your response.

This is just a minor update to this thread, managed to find most of the stuff you spoke about, some I am still looking for as I got a little side tracked. As I was searching, I came across some rather interesting side paths which lead to more side path to follow. For those that like hunting easter eggs, do yourself a favor and spend some time searching the stuff knightmare mentioned. There is some goodness out there that will make trudging through the google swamp of cataloged minds worth it. Put a do not disturb sign up on your cave door, have food handy and available and be prepared for a wee into the hours of the morning journey I'll come back to this at some point in time and drop a couple of links for the curious. But, I will be interested to read up on anyone else's treadling deeeep in to the swamp and what discoveries they made
