Here is the ModDB link to my upcoming mod for Quake 2: Return to Perdition
My goal is to link the storyline of Q2 with that of Q1. I would be very grateful for tips and advice.

can't download it, it says *No files were found matching the criteria specified* the file statistics also show zero files.

I was wondering when you'd post some screenshots that have the missionpack weapons As far as the shots themselves, the brick texture in the first of the new screenies looks like it's had color loss from palette conversion. The Shambler's hall looks like a smooth arched vault, but it could benefit from some pillars and ribbing. I also like the street scene with the Tudor buildings. EDIT: added a screenshot of a ribbed vault I did a LONG time ago. Attachments:

knightmare : some cool architecture you did there. really impressive ! mikem : same goes for you, a nice blend of Quake, Quake 2, Hexen 2, Heretic 2 and other influences .... this is gonna be BIG !

Work in progress But the arghrad of Q2 isn't as accurate as that one of Q1.

Looking nicely detailed! But those vaults wouldn't stand in real life without pillars holding them up.
Note that you should be able to make longer rectangular vaults that have wider spaced pillars.

cool, this arch is a nice architectual feature, also the structure in the middle, with the teleport (is it one?)
still going strong with the awaken textures I see ....
