Looking good so far on that GL. The red part does need a bit more dirt/scratches, though. Yes, you are right. scratches, rust ... I'll do it. I haven't done the front part yet. it's just upscaled |

Looking pretty good! Really gritty, maybe a little too much. How many months/years of use would a Q2 marine's rocket launcher have seen? Not that long, based on the game's story.
BTW, these enhanced skins would also benefit from higher-res glow images to override the ones in kmq2_extras.pk3.

What do you think now about glow ?  |

there is nothing more to do on chain gun. Texture is very simple but is hard fit together some parts. I do not touch it much after upscale   |

That glow on the RL looks good. I assume you removed the glow baked into the skin?
Chaingun looks really good.

OP If you are interested for more inspiration. knockout.chat/thread/9182the archive is updated regularly, and i am really digging the SG model. also check the Rocket Launcher model, it is supposed to be fully green, but due to Q2's limited colormap colors it looks as it is ingame. |
