I posted this over at Backshooters, figured I do it here to... Enjoy.
I was going through a load of songs that I downloaded from mp3.com back in the day when it wasn't so crap (it is a waset of time going there now). They used te be a great outlet for unknown artists of all sorts. It gave them a way to get their music out in the public. When cleaning out my music folders I got an urge to see what became of several of the artists that struck my fancy back then (about 4-5 years ago). I found several of them are still making music and that they offer free downloads of most of it. There is a lot to be had, most is "movie-score-ish" which is my favorite kind of music aside from Pink-Acid-Tree. A lot of it has been part of professional releases for games, movies and Television. So anyway, here are a few links... www.kmmproductions.com/home.htmlwww.xplorestudios.com/default.aspwww.edgen.com/www.gnomusy.com/You will have to do some digging on a couple of those sites but you will be rewarded with a HUGE amount of content. I ended up with about 370 new pieces of music... some pretty meh but most of it is quite excellent.
