cool, you still around too weird thing.. I actually checked when your last post was, like 1 hour before you posted. To check if you still were active.. I've actually started making maps again, but QERadiant keeps freezing when I try to save my maps. But it looks like it works fine when I run it as administrator.. Stupid Vista..

it is da m !!!! you don't know me yet, please lemme introduct: I am da successor of this grieve guy who left the scene under unkown conditions, continuing right where he ended. his collected works somehow came unpon me and I want to continue/finish some of his stuff, but mainly create new stuff. weird enough, his technical skillZ and knowledge also was somehow transferred to me. might be voodoo or however you call it.

Well...
...I'm still alive and kicking, doing well (more or less) but am not active in any kind of gaming community. The o'lady and I moved to a small kids camp and run/direct it, we have very little interaction with the kids (thank GOD) aside from tractor rides and pool operations...we are in other words facility managers or some such.
It keeps us very busy, pays nothing (literally) and is still, believe it or not very rewarding. We do live on the premises and pretty much have it all as our own personal playground when the littl'ns aren't in attendance. The 'big' perk for all the service is a great place to live out in the boonies and phew...they pay our utilities too!
I do miss the Q2 scene (not the mapping though) and the people I was fortunate/blessed to meet and get to know as a result of being a small part of it. I have one terrible webby-connection, so my time online has been limited to just minutes a day. I've been convalescing from surgery so with no int4rw3b to speak of I was very VERY happy to have my Xbox360 to keep me occupied.
I just wanted to pop in and say 'boo!' to my Cafe pals. I do keep up as best as I can with the Backshooters gang but that is more of an IRC thang.
TTFN, Maric

So when can I expect a "Enemy Territory: Quake Wars" section on your site? -Paril Wuhtchoo talk'n 'bout Willis? I don't have my site any longer and am too cheap (read too poor) to get another one up. I hate using the 'free' sites that are bloated and full of advertising (no offense intended to any that use them). I still have my entire old site backed up but alas... And about Quake Wars...I wish, kind-of sort-of but am pretty sure that my PC isn't bully enough to handle it.

if it can run Doom 3 it will also run Quake 4 and ET:QW. got these games myself in the shelf and still don't have the hardware for them. a complete system with dual core and 2 gigs ram is affordable under 400 or 500 €, that's no problem but I don't want it right now. especially I want to use this GeForce 6200 I have ordered last year. I also had a GeForce 7600 before that but I gave it to someone I still owed money and I didn't like the additional power supply. I also bought a used dual core/PCI Express machine rather cheap - and couldn't stand it at all, so I resold it quickly again. also bought a used P4 last year, but it died during the setup for unknown reasons. right now I ordered a mainboard (with AGP support of course ) and will try to assemble a system out of all the Computer parts lying around in here.
