LeRay, I just found out that there's already a Q2 map that has the same name that I chose for my map. I removed my map from the location that I gave you the link to, just for the time being. I am going to rename the bsp file, rename and slightly alter the text file, and rename the zip file, but I'm not going to recompile my map. When the judging is done, I will post up a different link to my map. I am also going to put a couple PNG textures in the zip file as well in case someone is running Q2 with high res textures.

Well, since the name of my map tells absolutely ZERO about the map, I'll tell you the name change now. My game name is Death_Jump and my knickname is DJ, so the name of the map was djdm1.bsp I am renaming it to dj_dm1.bsp LeRay, please tell the judges to rename the map when they are done judging, thanks. I'll post a link to the map when judging is over.

Tell you what DJ, Why don't you email me the updated version of your map, with the new name. Then, when I post the results and the map download links, I'll just put your new map in place of the old. How's that?
Just make sure you email the map to me A.S.A.P !
Thanks.

did you know you can do a superfast compile with the -onlyents parameter in the bsp command line? Skip the 'vis' and 'light' stages and only run the bsp stage with that parameter. This also works great if you only need to adjust the weaponplacement or sounds. On a side note I remember that map djdm1, by Dave Johnston, the guy that made De_Dust. ,-)
