Hey Everyone, I really want to start making my first Q2 map but I'm not sure which program to use so I was just curious as to which programs you guys recommend for a mapping beginner?

I use Tread, other good ones are Qradiant and Quark, just find one that works for you.

I also use Tread 3D v. 1.12. It's a great program, easy to use and hasn't given me any problems.

I been using BSP for the longest time. Could never get used to any other editor for Quake 2. Unfortunately, the website for BSP shut down a long time ago and I no longer have a distribution file. I keep backup copies of my BSP directory.

I use GTKRadiant. Started with QERadiant and moved up. It works for many other games too.

I use Quark 6.4.. its a little funky sometimes but it works. I've got Tread and Radiant too but I haven't used them very much yet.... Still trying to get a handle on the "Easy" one...

I am using Worldcraft 1.6. I like the interface and I am used to the tools within.
