Fas-in-a-ting! Hows about a Satellite Uplink Device? Also, maybe you could see one of the Standard Quake 2 maps (Processing Plant is a good one (map fact2)) about looping Sounds.

it's just a target-speaker with LOOPED_ON (or LOOPED_OFF if you need it to be triggered)

I tried both looped_on/off and with reliable checked/unchecked but it would not work. As for the uplink device, it'd simply be a key with a pedistal or whatever, set to visualy appear after you collect the key, inside or on top of the house. Maybe a laser pointer or radio like in a HL: Opposing Force level.
I didn't feel like adding all that because it was the beam effect I was after. (Which admittedly could have been beter)
I asked because I couldn't think of anything that I haven't seen already

For the speaker, show me the entity that is compiled with the BSP.
