Okaaaay!
Things are running smoothly down at.. um, my Visual Studio 6 and 2005.
So far some neat things have been implemented such as controllable motion blur (from Q2XP), fully client-side HUDs (very limited as of now, but will be very powerful eventually), and we're working on the Main Menu GUI system. Whether it will be before or after the first alpha, you will be able to create your own customizable HUDs right from the main menu, and test them in-game real time!
However, there are two parts that have us caught on a snag; maps and original content. As of yet, a pistol has been made for us, and a shotgun and submach are in texturing phases. There still remains a lot of models and skins to be replaced.
That aside, maps is another big problem. We need original deathmatch and single player maps suited to Brazen's gameplay. The Single Player mission requires more attention to be created (contact me for the details on entities, what the game is about, etc), however deathmatch maps are self-explanatory. (entity lists and such are available, just let me know if you need it).
If anyone also wants to do any scripting for the main menu, we could definitely use a better one than I have already.
Tomorrow (Saturday) around 9 PM EST, I will be on TastySpleen PodCast being interviewed by PeeWee about Brazen, don't forget to check it out! I'll post the podcast afterwards so you can check it out
Anyway, that's all for nao.
