Says the guy who's making an EGL-only deathmatch mod. Compatibility is pointless. The game is 10+ years old. It's not like those structures were meant to be deathmatch levels in the first place, either. It's not a mod, it's a freeware game using EGL as a base. It seems to be a common goal around here to push the engine to it's limits, see what it can withstand whilst still allowing everybody to play it as equal as possible. That's what makes them incredible! -Paril

Now THAT's what I mean That's amazing Knightmare. Is this KMQ2 only though? It's very impressive, that's the kind of architecture Brazen needs! -Paril

Yes, it's KMQ2- only, as well as requiring a modified version of QBSP for the terrain surfaces.

Aye Skies, I do like that shot of the shaft or whatever it is the player is looking up at...sort of what I am going for in my next map... ...I'm on a bit of a 3DS Max kick at the moment and haven't done much Q2 stuff as I'm busy making a Nissan GTR Skyline in 3D...Should really show you guys what I mean by this and not leave you hangin' to see what I'm talking about...

that's really nice. Been a long time since I fiddled around with 3DSMax but when I did, I really had a lot of fun. The enjoyment I got out of making a really slick model and rendering it in awesome detail was one of the main factors that got me into mapping in the first place.

Yeah I made that in 3D zyx...Not bad if I say so myself. Still got a bit to do on it, but it's getting there. Just gotta stop rendering it so much and start working on it more.
