What'S cevices? And what do you mean the lights don't work. Is the map all black or fullbright? Or is it only a subset of the lights? Entitiy lights, spotlights, surface lights?
Looking at a map you didn't build yourself in the editor often is a pita, you should maybe describe your bugs and fix them yourself instead of hoping for others to do that.

If i compile with QBSP3,QVIS3,QRAD3 I have Fullbright but in normal q2 dynamic light's works, static light's won't work, when i don't compile with QRad3, Then is full light. Bugs like this (cevices-maybe i use bad word) In editing are no bugs, but when I play, it's like in the picture

If i compile with QBSP3,QVIS3,QRAD3 I have Fullbright but in normal q2 dynamic light's works, static light's won't work, when i don't compile with QRad3, Then is full light. Bugs like this (cevices-maybe i use bad word) In editing are no bugs, but when I play, it's like in the picture That is due the the rounding error in Qoole 2.5 (and earlier). What happens is the position of your vertices get rounded so the final product does not end up in the same position as what you see in the map editor. This can cause leaks, which is probably why you can't run qvis or qrad. Unfortunately Qoole2.5 and earlier do not have advanced leak debug features. I recommend that qoole2.5 users finish the item placement and overall layout (including spawns) Then do you lighting in qoole99. Qoole99 doesn't have the same rounding error and it does have a handy tool to point out leaks to make them easier to plug. Your .qle from qoole2.5 can be opened in qoole99. The big error in qoole99 is that you cant set the direction that entities face. So as long as you have set all of the directions using qoole 2.5's rotate tool then they will be facing the right direction in qoole99.

If your going to convert old maps like that I recommend that you scrap Qoole altogether. Pretty much any brush that isn't on a 90o angle will cause the map to leak / no lighting. You'll get nothing but headaches later on down the track if you keep using Qoole, despite its user friendly interface. I made a few maps with Qoole years ago. Even though it looked like something was aligned to the grid, when compiled there were gaps everywhere. Give either QERadiant, or QuArK a try for your mapping. That's the best advice I can give you. EDIT: looks like everyone beat me to it ;D

If the QERadiant installer in the above link won't work, I've posted a zipped version hereof the full 1.47 version. Just unzip it where you want it installed and manually create a shortcut.

Actually I using Qoolev99, because it's for me very easy editor. Thanks Dudes for help, I try QERadiant and Quark, maybe I learn something.

Actually I using Qoolev99, because it's for me very easy editor. Thanks Dudes for help, I try QERadiant and Quark, maybe I learn something. Quark has a similar interface as qoole99. The shortcuts are different, but the main differences are the view panes are in a different order and there is no walk-through mode like in qoole99. The qoole series of editors have 2 tools that make them more powerful than any other editor. Free face move and free vertex move. Everything else forces single axis movement with faces and vertexes, or no vertex movement forcing an edge move. Problem with quark is that it just guesses which edge to move, it also adjusts other edges and vertexes guessing where you want them instead of locking them in place. The list goes on, but basically qoole are without a doubt more powerful tools for producing custom architecture. Newer programs have a lot of canned tools like steps and arches. Those are useful but they are nothing compared to the freedom of qoole. I do suggest switching to quark, and possibly creating any wanted prefabs in qoole99. The main level design is fine in quark, it has some texturing quirks (a.k.a mind numblingly frustrating "Features" that cause textures to get stretched, realligned, and misaligned at absolute RANDOM) but it has a long track record of not causing errors in it's own saving format, able to save large maps, and a very extensive undo/redo memory. It took me a long time to decide to switch to Quark but it was the right decision. However, if you've already invested long periods in time in qoole, it is difficult getting a file to export to a .map properly in order to open it in Quark. It may be easier to fix the problems than to restart. Just depends on your situation. It looks like you just gladiator-ed q2dm1, duplicated and inverted it, and moved items around. It's most likely easy to redo your changes in a new editor starting from scratch.

Ok now I have problem with Quark, when I click on edit or move selection, just editor show me this Traceback (most recent call last): File "D:\Krzysiek\Programy\QuArK 6.6.0 Beta 3\quarkpy\qmenu.py", line 127, in Edit1Click undo, redo = quarkx.undostate(Edit1.Root) quarkx.error: Cannot make changes here, because QuArK could not find from which file this data comes. [005407F8] You should ask at the QuArk fourms. Also would need to know what version of windows your are using, "windows 2000" , "windows XP" , "windows Vista" , "windows 7". Post your QuArk error here in the Troubleshooting - Encountered a problem, error or bug? quark.sourceforge.net/forums/index.php?board=4.0DanielPharos or cdunde will help you with this QuArk error. X7
