The map has been out for 2-3 months, but I just thought I'd share it here anyway It's a duel map where some jump-skills really helps allot! Personally I've never had this much fun on a duel map before, but then again, I'm more of a jumper than a dm player.. I've never really liked dueling, or regular dm for that matters, before I got this idea and started testing/playing the map. Special thanks to n00k1e with tips and help while testing the map! Nice map, everything seems balanced enough. I'd have fun on this if I were to play friendly duels, but in a duel comp it would get a little frustrating having to perform all those jumps, despite them being easy to the average jumper.
It would be nice (if you plan on future duel maps) that you could strike a balance between the jumps & the architecture/layout.
For example, in some of the popular maps the jumps act as a shortcut or another way to an item, as apposed to forcing the player all the time to jump to each item.
Anyway, if you have fun making your maps this way then keep doing it. As Maric once said "make maps for yourself, and eat heaps of cookies".

Thanks! Well, it's definitely a map for myself! As I said in the first post, I've never had this fun in a duel/dm map before! And that is mostly because of all those jumps.. I certainly understand that people will get frustrated when they're failing the jumps over and over again, but since I'm a jumper, I find it funnier to have to really concentrate where you're going, instead of just running around picking up items.. But I guess that's all about personal taste! And the more you play the map, the easier the jumps get..

One can see that you're into jumping on that map!
I like both 1vs1 and jumping but I'm not sure if the combination works. It's a matter of taste I guess but it's too distracting for me. The map's definitely well build and lit though, good work!

Hehe well, jumpers like it, and regular duelers hate it ! That's not saying much. Regular duelers only play 3 maps, and that's only after playing q2dm1 for 24 hours straight.

would be cool to see a demo of the jump-duel gameplay in this map.

Maybe I should get someone to play against me, and make one
