Hi,
what's the console command to completely remove the HUD in Quake 2 (like draw2d 0 in Quake 3)? I'd like to take a few screenshots without it.

there is no such a command in Q2. if you want to remove the hud, you need a special pak file. Attachments:

Havent tried it but if you're using AQ2 try gl_scale 0 lol

there is no such a command in Q2. if you want to remove the hud, you need a special pak file. Thanks heaps! I only had pak0.pak - pak2.pak in my quake2/baseq2/ directory so I renamed the file you linked to pak3.pak and it works like a charm.

You can also easily hide the HUD in KMQ2 by setting hud_alpha to 0.

Good to know. I'm usually using r1q2 but I have kmq2 installed as well and this sounds easier than moving that pak around all the time.
