Sick of it...again....someone wanna give me some suggestions to a better editor. For the record i can't stand Quark. the constant flickering when i move a brush drives me up the wall. i've been using qoole since i started (like 5 years ago) and i've never finished anything worth while... lol stupid thing. sick of that whole vertice moving dealio. i would like to actually finish something in the near future.

i like GTK radiant..its pretty flexible too so you can map with other games that use the quake engine..

+1 for Radiant. The editor is 100% a matter of taste of course. You can make great and shitty maps with all of them. I use NetRadiant. It has support for many games, runs on multiple platforms and is free (GPL). Its weakness is that it doesn't have proper grouping features for brushes imo.

+2 for radiant I'm using QeRadiant though.. That program is kinda hard to find I guess! If I remember correctly, it was some disagreement between the makers of QeRadiant, and ID software.. Not sure though..

well i gave radiant 10 minutes couldnt figure much out. Skies showed me how to sorta aide quarks flickering and i think ima stick with that for now. i'll figure out radiant later. any tutorials?

a quick search found en.wikibooks.org/wiki/GtkRadianti did a brief look through and it looks pretty sweet with movin pictures and such.. sorry i can't provide more..all my bookmarks are on my desktop PC..won't be able to access that for a few weeks..
