ok, so I got back into map making I did a tiny map but when I compile I get this message SetQdirFromPath: no 'quake2' in D:\Quake 2\baseq2\maps\un1 what to do? (I'm using qoole, I know, not the best one)

yeah, I was guessing that would be the problem, but how do I fix that? oh, and btw, using arghrad now, but it shows a different problem, i modified the original post showing the new error message
it seems to me like arghrad is looking for quake 2 in the wrong folder

Here we go!. never use it before.. There is no config file....hmmm Qoole99.pak??.. What i do is this. 1) Delete all filez in Qoole\bin directory 2) Replace it with good Q2 compile filez. txqbsp39.exe,timvis3.exe,arghrad.exe, rename the filez txqbsp39.exe ---> QBSP3.exe timvis3.exe ---> QVIS3.EXE arghrad.exe ---> QRAD3.exe Setup Q2 Game, Path & compile toolz. Done!
