With ideas! Seriously, I was trying to resketch some old maps the other day when BAM!!! An idea popped into my head for a new map, and it was too good to resist not sketching out a rough draft. I've done about 30% of it so far, but I'm really eager to re-install Quake 2 and radiant and start mapping it out. I guess it's kind of good not having it installed right now though, as I can make my sketch look really good - I like the artistic side of drawing with pencil, it looks great when you take time to get really particular with shading and texturing using just pencil. Almost good enough to frame Anyways it shouldn't be too long before I do a good copy of it and then I just gotta map it out. I haven't Quake 2'd for evers!

Reinstall? Why did you ever uninstall Quake2 to begin with?

I dunno man, but your engine and the hi-res textures are still in the directory - which when played, causes the textures to be stretched, as there's no reference to read off for sizes...
I'll get around to reinstalling it soon. But yeah I don't know why I did it, I have so many FPS games on my PC atm, I guess I just wanted more HDD space...

Yep, KMQ2 needs the .wal files for size references, due to how texture coords are stored in BSPs.
