Quick video showing off the state of Q2W:
Development is moving along, and Pan is knocking out classic DM remakes like it's going out of style. We're still eagerly seeking mappers, modelers, texture artists, and coders!

Thanks bud. Here's another showing off the shadows, with some improvements over the January video:

Jaydolan, My .map file for my release for the contest will be included in the zip. Feel free to port it to Q2W, just add my name in the credits/contributers please.

Hey fifth (love that name btw). Thanks for offering your map up to Q2W. Depending on how awesome it is, I may take you up on that. The issue is that porting the maps itself is a very time consuming process (just ask Pan, who has ported 7 of the 8 Q2DM maps so far). As I mentioned in my previous post, we have a long list of great maps we've been authorized to port. What we're lacking is a small corps of dedicated mappers to port them -- and to create Q2W originals, which is frankly more fun, as you can be more creative and fully take advantage of the engine. Anyway, cheers, looking forward to seeing your entry

We typically have two servers running; one in North America and one in Western Europe. Joe Reid maintains them. Sometimes they crash; they might be down at the moment. Sorry if that's the case.
I'm not sure who "we" is in your post, but if you'd like to map for the project, then you should get in touch on IRC. The team is generally always available to answer questions and help people come up to speed on the engine and tools. Quetoo is still a beta. Keep that in mind. We're in #quetoo on irc.freenode.net.

Well, I bought a house a couple months ago, and it's a fixer-upper. So I haven't worked on Quetoo since February. Once things are settled in with the new home, I'll pick Quetoo up again. Probably end of June / early July. From there, it's a matter of putting a few bows on Pan's Q2DM remakes, finding some help improving or replacing the weapon models, and fixing bugs and netcode issues. There are no major new features planned at this point in time, but the game needs a lot of polish in order to be "ready".
