Problem? The "light uptime" increased for every activation, so after a few "thunders" the light stayed on long past the sound effect, making it look silly.. Any solutions/other methods?
That gives me a very interesting idea! I might have some ideas for this I could try, as I am currently making a map right now and lightning could be rather fitting, I shall attempt to do this! But I think a couple relay ents being used to trigger the light might be key here rather than the timer directly doing it if I understand this correct, there should only be a need for one timer.
Let me know what you find! The effect looked pretty damn cool with thunder+light, if one could only fix so the light only stays on for like 1 or 2 seconds to match the sound effect.
Edit: Ok tried it with relay as you suggested, it works now!
Excellent, glad it worked out! Indeed, trigger relays are your best friend for just about anything you wish to do that goes beyond mere single toggles etc, it's what can allow just a single trigger to result in many different things happening at different times without flaw each and every time!
I will see what I can do with it, I will probably push some limits in my experiments so it'll be a bit yet, and I had some business come up today as well to delay things a bit, but I'll let know here how it goes if my concept works out! =^.^=
