If there is anyone here that could take on a ?mini? project for me that would be awesome.
What I need if someone can volunteer their time (I understand everyone has their own personal priorities) is for the wads from this video converted for quake 2 use. I don't know if this is a lot of work or if it can been done so if I am asking to much just let me know. I'm going to have to learn it eventually this I know, I was just saving it for a down the road project/s as I build new maps, increasing my skill set and adding more and more to my skillz toolbox. In the end, hopefully grabbing that first map slot of the year in 2021 with a show stopper.(top secret eyes only project though lol) I will be posting my growth through out the year here with other things (maps) I'm working on to increase my skill set, hope your all ready for some funny looking maps though haha. I have big shoulders btw so I can take the razzing so long as its followed up with some constructive feed back and your not just razzing for razzing sake
Back to my thought, I think after watching the video, these wads would be helpful for me to use in the beginning for my current skill level and what I am trying to achieve for myself right now. If this info is needed I will be starting out using the Trenchboom editor since it seems simple enough to get into and start using while I am learning how to use QERadiant-GTKRadiant ( are these the same or different editors btw)
In the end I will be choosing an editor that supports both vanilla and KMQ2 the best (I'm assuming the one knightmare is working on will do that the best) I am open to peoples opinions on different level editors and why they use them if anyone has any personal input they would like to bring forward on the editor they are using. I don't know if one editor will do it all or if I will have to learn a couple of different editors when it comes to building maps for vanilla engine and the KMQ2 engine.
Lastly is Trenchboom compatible with KMQ2 because there are things I would like to start farting around on (outside of learning) to test out some of my big imagination dm/sp map theories?
I really hope this post makes sense, its my day for housework so my mind is a little in molly maid mode lol. Thanks in advance if anyone can take on those wads for me, I know its asking a lot, just want to get up to speed as quick as I can and I know how to build my skills quickly.
