Im getting very frustrated with the lack of information i can find on bots in quake 2, i was just wondering, does anyone out there at all know how to get gladiator to work properly with mods other than itself, the readme included states to simply inject the gladiator folder's contents into a certain mod folder, for example, the xatrix folder. however, upon doing so, i am unable to get the menu to work. if anyone can help me with this, or maybe direct me to a better bot mod, i would greatly appreciate it.

I seem to have gotten things figured out, but man is it a mess compared to what i read. ill go in detail for those who may want to play some quake 2 with these bots.
////- Ill start off by saying youll want to have this mod installed to begin with, thats simple enough, the next logical step is to convert any maps in your /baseq2 with winbspc, and make sure your output folder is in /baseq2/maps when creating .AAS files.
////- Getting say, CTF to work is a different story. There is a reason that winbspc comes with an extract feature, and its so you can extract your pak files from certain mods like ctf and rogue, to your /baseq2 folder. once this is done, copy your .pak file from ctf or wherever into your /gladiator folder. you can rename it to whatever, as long as gladiator can read it. now your mods will work with gladiator bot just fine, and if i need to make a video tutorial i will, in fact, i may as well. ill link once its up.

gladiator bots do not support any arbitrary mod, it can play FFA, The Reckoning, Ground Zero, CTF and Rocket Arena 2. Tourney has an own built - in Gladiator bot. For CTF, I think you better copy the CTF - pak into your Gladiator folder.
Didn't try the other stuff .....
